Terminology Infrastructure - A perspective on Scope
This paper will present an up-to date overview on
1) The diverse categories of need that any proposed infrastructure should be flexible enough to serve :
new terminology work
widespread terminology repair work
terminology work in critical communication
others will be added
2) Examples of the importance of mixing pragmatics, rapid response measures and policing that the infrastructure will need to be able to embrace.
A spread of practical working examples of these conflicting aspects of terminology work will be drawn from the most recent occurrences.
